    All these plot is building up, for the cohort to kill a saint or saints. This has build up with the master challenge's mega enemies (dragon, titans) and then with the winter beast and iron titan. All monsters up until now were to showcase the might of a saint and how insignifigant masters are. Now the plot thickenss with the higher levels as a target, only to go a step forward. Either unltimate fight vs saints or enter a seed to become a saint themselves. At the moment though , the second one is anti-climatic.

      This is indeed good progress tho the way we’re viewing Sunny makes me envision is a group of mad scientist running a test on the human mind. Just because of the way we all talk about his forming conviction, character growth and that damn sword that cause “unexpected variables”.

        Its mentioned a few hundred chapters back. Basically sunny was told lacked conviction and he’d never be strong enough to do what he wants cuz of it, so he went to antarc to fund conviction. And his development has been proof of his blooming conviction. ESPECIALLY when he hesitated to abandon the crew, AND, just now, and alot more in the previous hundred or so chapters

          Who told him the bullshit that u can’t get strong enough if lack conviction?

          and also, he as far away from conviction as he’s been on the Forgotten Shores(FS); as conviction is a believe that’s so strong that you’re not flinch even in a face of death for it. Yet here lies a problem - his safety always secured. He did save some people on FS bcz he could and wanted it, same here in Antarctica he saves people, but if your safety always secured then u never burn the fck boat or confronted something knowing that if u fail you’ll pay the ultimate price.
