this novel has 2 volumes, vol 1 ends at ch 360, rest are vol 2. Only read V1 as that is what relates to the title and synopsis. Apparently from v2 , mc goes to a new world and literally becomes a new person with 0 relation to v1, in personality or any connections to v1. For all intents, it sounds like v2 was a reboot of v1 by a random author trying to milk more out of v1s success

Just read v1, it’s a decent 3-3.5/5 story.

Absolutely loved the first volume, the novel takes a nosedive at the second volume though.

Can anyone recommend something similar to this one? Biggest reason I liked this is because mc isn't a simping pushover.

This was ok to read until it just straight up skipped the rest of the story and sent mc to some other place.
I think Author had no clue how to continue or was just too lazy to give any kind of proper ending.

This novel was good but I dropped it, because I couldn't stand other people's misunderstandings and Mc's passivity..
Yes people will say that C acts behind the scenes, that it's for a mysterious impression but that's too much..
example: the ruler here is called lord..
MC is the most powerful lord, and he has a strong general too, this general's strength is even equal to other lords... and he is always trusted by MC to do anything, so everyone who meets the general thinks that he is MC because he is very strong, at first it was fun because I thought "haha he's not an MC and you're so surprised by his strength, wait until you see the real MC I wonder what your expression will be like"..
but apparently not, the MC never cleared up the misunderstanding, he let people think that the general was him and this continued for hundreds of chapters and this is very annoying... as if this general was the real MC

I've read this novel until the start of the second volume (maybe better to think of it as sequel) and I would say that the first volume was really not given any proper thoughts on how everything ends.

MTL is absolute garbage.
